Welcome to the American Assembly for Men in Nursing
Mentoring Program
The philosophy of the Program is based on the premises that:
“The American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) mentoring program
promotes the personal and professional achievements of men in
nursing through formal and informal collegial relationships while
advancing the practice and science of nursing”.
This is a pilot program for 20 Mentor-Mentee Pairs for the first
year, so, get your application in early.
There will be no charge to the participants. Each participant
will be provided with printed and electronic resources that will
assist them as they develop their mentor-mentee relationship. In
addition, all mentors will be expected to complete a brief
orientation to being a mentor for the AAMN Mentoring Program.
Below, please find the link to the Mentor Application form. Once it
has completed, submitted to the Mentorship Task Force for review,
and you have been selected to be an AAMN Mentor, you will be given
instructions as to how to access the orientation materials and the
overall mentorship program.
